Deskripsi / Abstrak
This book is a collection of short stories collaboratively written by the principal, teachers, and students about a religious moderation school
Sinopsis
This book is a collaborative literary work written together by the principal, teachers, and students of SMPN 3 Porong. As a tangible manifestation of supporting the mandate of Government Regulation (PP) Number 57 of 2014 concerning language development and protection, as well as the Trigatra Bangun Bahasa slogan, all stories in this book are presented in three languages (Indonesian, Javanese, and English). Through every page of the short stories within, readers are invited to dive into the lives of a school environment and community rich in diverse ethnicities, cultures, races, and beliefs. Various daily conflicts and dynamics—ranging from debates over activity schedules in the student council (OSIS), prejudices among friends, misunderstandings regarding ways of worship, to cultural adaptation—are presented organically and are close to the world of teenagers. However, instead of becoming dividers, these differences are woven together by language as a common thread that knits unity. Through small acts full of empathy, the characters in each short story learn to shed their egos, clear up slander, and embrace one another to build bridges of tolerance. This book pours its essence into three main pillars: prioritizing Indonesian as the nation's unifier, preserving Javanese as the root of local culture, and mastering English as a window to the global world. More than just a collection of fictional tales, this book is both a portrait and a valuable guide on how the values of inclusive, tolerant, and peaceful religious moderation can be brought to life to maintain the harmony of Indonesia's future.
